The initial miniseries premiered in 2019 on Netflix. The series received critical acclaim for its animation, humour, story and voice acting. In 2019, Netflix ordered a sequel miniseries, titled 'Green Eggs and Ham: The Second Serving', a loose adaptation of 'The Butter Battle' Book.
